College students dazzle at AWA Awards

College students dazzle at AWA Awards

As a reward for their exceptionally hard work, Alishba, Balgees, Lina and Thanusree were chosen by the college to attend as Ms Hothi’s guests at this year’s Asian Women of Achievement Awards 2019. Ms Hothi is an alumni for the awards and won the Arts and Culture Category back in 2017.

It was an incredibly inspiring night, with a line-up of amazing female speakers and nominees from a range of different industries and backgrounds. The students also had a chance to meet the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan. The girls left feeling inspired and motivated, and are determined to see themselves as nominees at the awards in the years to come!
