University Talks Conclude with UCL Visit to Ealing Independent College

16 Nov 2016

As the final session in our programme of University Visits we were lucky enough to have Raoul Morley from University College London (UCL) come to speak with students at Ealing Independent College.

UCL is one of the world's very best universities, consistently placed in the global top 20 in a wide range of world rankings.  Home to centres of teaching excellence in subjects from medicine to languages, law to engineering and history to astrophysics. Raoul gave a lot of helpful information for students considering applying to UCL and thinking about studying in London.

As well as looking at what the University can offer students Raoul spoke about what makes a good supporting statement for a UCAS application, and how important it is to show your personality as well as your grades. The College's own internal UCAS deadline is Friday 18 November and the University visits have given our Year 13's plenty to think about whilst they make the final changes to their applications.

This was the fourth of our University talks for students this year, following talks from Kings, Queen Mary's and LSE.
