Ealing left out in cold following late David Game no-show

Despite some poor weather last night, Ealing's proposed match with David Game College did not go ahead due to a late call-off by the league leader's opponents. The home side and the referee were primed and ready for action in advance of kick off, but at just over 20 minutes notice, their opponents stated that they could not attend the match, claiming there would be a lack of safety.
The all-weather pitch was in acceptable condition and the referee saw no problems with the game going ahead. Ealing's players had all been able to make the journey for the game without any issues. Due to the lack of sufficient notice time, the match is awarded to Ealing as a 3-0 forfeit win.
