College Hits Landmark on Journey to Sustainable Future

There was a keen sense of excitement at the college today as a huge landmark was hit on the college’s journey to a sustainable future. Having installed an electric car charging point over February half term, the first plug in hybrid car to visit the college was plugged into it and began to charge.

The car’s owner, and staff member, was delighted that the new charging point worked, and although the college has a long road ahead in regards to moving towards a carbon free future, this will surely remain a landmark moment for the college.

Ealing Independent College is the first independent school in Ealing to have an electric car charging point in its car park, but we certainly hope that we will not be the last.
