We are delighted with the results our students achieved today. Many of our students were celebrating having achieved top grades, and we are so proud of them for securing places at top universities.
At Ealing Independent College, every student has a story. We are equally proud of our students who did not achieve A* or A grades, many of whom worked incredibly hard, and some of whom also faced tremendous personal challenges during their education.
We would like to particularly highlight Jack, who achieved an amazing A*A*A in Biology, Chemistry and Psychology and will be studying Chemistry at UCL. Jack’s success was very well deserved, not only was he an incredibly hard working student, but he was also very kind and generous with his time, being an excellent mentor to other students.
Donagh is another success story. Donagh joined us in Year 13 to resit his A levels and improved his grades in all subjects, achieving a fantastic AAB in Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology. He will be joining the University of Sheffield to study Medicine.
Paul, who also joined us in Year 13, achieved ABB in Mathematics, Economics and Business, studying all three subjects as Intensive A levels, and who will be studying Business and Management at University of Bristol.
Rowan has shown great resilience. She sets extremely high standards for herself and chose to retake her A levels, achieving AB in Chemistry and Biology. Her resilience paid off and she is very excited to take up her place studying Pharmacy at the University of Bath.
At Ealing Independent College, one pathway definitely doesn’t suit everyone, and all of our students are given the encouragement and support which they need in order to be able to pursue their own goals. We are equally proud of our students who choose to take a more creative path, for example Romane, who will be studying Make-up and Hair Design at the University of Southampton, in order to pursue her dream of a career in make-up for stage and screen.
Whether our students have been with us since Year 9 or have joined us to retake their A levels, we are very proud of their successes. We are very sure that we have not heard the last of this talented cohort, and we look forward to following their journeys as they make their impact on their chosen fields.
