Taking full advantage of being based in London, the College organises excursions to musicals, art galleries, museums, concerts, and famous historical landmarks. The activities programme has been especially designed for our students to be able to participate in social activities whilst exploring the city.
Students have also taken part in trips which have enhanced their understanding within subjects – having travelled to Poland with the Holocaust Educational Trust and the Shakespeare’s Globe theatre in London for History, the Houses of Parliament for Politics or the Tate Modern for Art and Photography.
During school holidays we also organise regular study trips around the UK and further afield. In recent years some of our students travelled to China for a four-week expedition exploring the country. Most recently, in February 2019, a group of students travelled to Boston with a group of our A Level students to participate in the MIT Model United Nations Conference. Ealing Independent College was the only school from the UK to participate.
