Why Ealing College?

A different kind of College for students who need a more personal approach

Ealing Independent College is a specialist independent college for students in Years 9 to 13 who thrive in a smaller, calmer and more personalised learning environment.

Many of our students join us because their previous educational setting was no longer working for them. Some need greater support. Some need more flexibility. Some need to rebuild confidence, motivation or trust in education. At EIC, we understand that success looks different for every young person, and our role is to help each student find the right path forward.

We offer a mature and purposeful college environment where students are known as individuals, treated with respect and supported to achieve meaningful academic progress. Small classes, strong relationships and clear expectations allow teachers to understand how each student learns best and provide the guidance they need to succeed.

Our approach balances structure with freedom. We expect students to work hard, behave well and take responsibility for themselves, but we also remove unnecessary barriers that can prevent young people from engaging fully. With no formal dress code, a more flexible college culture and respectful first-name relationships between staff and students, EIC provides an environment where students can feel comfortable, valued and ready to learn.

For parents, Ealing Independent College offers reassurance: a calm setting, experienced staff, close pastoral support and a clear focus on both wellbeing and academic achievement.

For students, it offers something equally important: the chance to start again, be understood and believe that success is possible.
