The representatives of the Student Leadership Team are made up of Year 13 students, keen to leave a lasting legacy as they complete their final year at the College.
Following a rigorous application process, a Chair is elected in order to lead and monitor the progress of the group, with all other members allocated to a College priority for the Year, to work closely with a member of staff to bring positive change.
The Student Leadership Team works on real projects to benefit the College. Past pursuits have included improving student skills in questioning during lessons through the Teaching and Learning Group, or the creation of the Mentoring scheme to support younger students in the College.
They act as ambassadors for the College and are called upon for their opinions in staff recruitment interviews, expertise in assisting during tours for parents or helping with the organisation for student events.
