I’m thrilled to have joined the college as a science teacher this year. I hold an M.Phil. in Chemistry, with a specialisation in Organic Chemistry, and I bring over 10 years of teaching experience in higher education. Over the years, I’ve come to believe that teaching is a continuous learning process, where both students and teachers grow together. It is this dynamic exchange of knowledge and ideas that keeps me passionate about my role as an educator. I have a deep passion for making the complexities of science both accessible and exciting for students. What I love most about being part of this vibrant community is the opportunity to collaborate with talented students and faculty alike, all while exploring innovative ways to ignite a love for science.
From my first day here, I’ve been truly impressed by the positive and collaborative work environment at the college. Both staff and students have been incredibly supportive and helpful, making it a pleasure to work in this nurturing atmosphere. The ethos of the college emphasises growth, respect, and the pursuit of knowledge, which truly resonates with me. It’s inspiring to be part of a place where knowledge is not just taught, but celebrated.
One of my most memorable experiences so far has been interacting with students who are eager to apply scientific concepts in real-world scenarios. Their enthusiasm for learning and their collaborative spirit have been truly inspiring. I look forward to many more experiences like this and to growing together as we continue exploring the wonders of science!
