My name is Lily, and I am thrilled to introduce myself as the new Art Teacher at Ealing Independent College. I have a background in Fashion Design and Textiles, as well as my teaching experience, supporting GCSE and A-level students through coursework and exams in Art and DT. I feel it is essential for students to have an understanding of how different disciplines within the Art and Design field function and how cultivating their problem-solving and practical skills in the classroom can lead to a dynamic job role within the thriving Art and Design Industry.
At Ealing Independent College, I’m excited to bring innovative ideas and introduce students to the many possibilities in Art and Design. From Graphics and 3D prototyping to 3D printing and smart textiles, there are so many new and exciting areas to explore. My goal is to help students discover their unique talents and understand how art connects to real-world industries.
Since joining the college, I’ve been amazed by the warm and welcoming community here. The students are eager to learn, and I’ve already seen so much creativity and potential in my short time here. I can’t wait to support and guide each of you on your artistic journey, whether you love painting, designing, or experimenting with new materials.
