Democratically elected following speeches to the student body, the Student Council serves the students for one academic year.
The Student Council works on real projects to benefit the College. This year one sub-committee is focusing on redesigning the Reading Room, and they will be presenting the Principal with their plans and a request for a budget for this project. Another sub-committee is developing a social and charitable programme for the College.
They act as ambassadors for the College and are called upon for their opinions in staff recruitment interviews, expertise in assisting during tours for parents or helping with the organisation for student events.
