UCAS Programme 2012 - 2013

07 Jun 2012

Applying to Higher Education is a complex process. This year’s UCAS programme for students is in full flow and is run by the College UCAS team in conjunction with outside speakers and partners. The programme started in the Spring term. The students attended several pre-UCAS workshops where they learned ABOUT the practicalities of the application process and received advice on how to apply to competitive universities. We encourage and support each individual student to produce applications suited to their abilities and interests. Thoroughly researched, these applications should have a strong chance of success. Many of our students will be applying for competitive courses and we feel it is important that each student engages positively with our programme. They need to place themselves in the best possible position to achieve a place at an institution that suits them and on a course on which they will flourish.   IMPORTANT DATES  Wednesday, 6th June 2012 at 6.30pm: UCAS parents Guidance Evening: discussion of the issues involved in applying to higher education and the opportunity to ask questions.   Monday 11th to Friday 15th June, 9.30am to 3.30pm:   UCAS week for Year 12: keynote presentations and workshops.
