Queen Mary University of London visit to the College

04 Nov 2016

Yesterday, Thursday 3 November, Dr Steve Le Comber of Queen Mary University of London visited Ealing Independent College to speak about the Sciences and at QMUL, some applicant advice and what it could offer our students. Some of you may remember that Dr Le Comber visited the College last year, and we were pleased to have him back.

Dr Le Comber is Senior Lecturer and Admissions Tutor of the Department of Organismal Biology at Queen Mary gave an interesting presentation about the courses on offer within Biology and the Sciences as well as an insight into the admissions processes at the University. He gave some great advice on what Universities are looking for in an applicant at a time when our students are finishing their UCAS applications.

This was the second in the 2016 series of University talks for our students, the first was from Kings College London. We have two more visits coming up:

LSE - 6.30pm - Tuesday 8 November

UCL - 6.30pm - Tuesday 15 November

You can book your place to either of these talks online here.
