College fundraising events well underway

23 Oct 2018

Our students were keen to be involved in volunteer work at Ealing Foodbank - which unfortunately wasn't possible due to age restrictions.

Instead, they opted to raise money and goods to support the five Foodbanks across Ealing.

These are some of the donations of food and other goods raised by our students for Ealing Food Bank. Ealing Food Bank supports those in need in the local area. The five Foodbanks in Ealing support the local community and last year these gave out almost 6000 parcels containing 3-days supply of food. This includes struggling families, many of whom may have young children. Food donations needed often include long-life goods such as tins, squash and long-life milk as well as essential items such as shower gel, nappies and razors.

Our fantastic students also raised money from a bake sale - half of which is also going to Ealing Foodbank to help support on-going costs of running the five Foodbank cafes - with the other half going towards the purchase of a defibrillator.
