CATS no show gifts Ealing three points to get back on track

04 Oct 2017

Raring to go after the first team loss in over two years, Ealing were left frustrated last night as their opponents opted not to fulfil the arranged fixture. The men in white and the referee were primed and ready for action in advance of kick off, but with just 8 minutes notice, their opponents stated that they could not attend the match, citing a lack of organisation from their players.
Ealing's players had all been able to make the journey for the game without any issues, and instead used the game as an extra training session. Due to the lack of sufficient notice time, the match is awarded to Ealing as a 3-0 forfeit win.
