Post A-level applicants into Medical School

Zoe

Zoe was delighted to find that her retakes in January (2010) gave her the results she needed for university. She now has three A grades and an offer for a place at University to study dentistry.

The January exams were also great encouragements for the following students, who all scored highly in most of their modules:

Angela gained A grades in her English Literature modules, and finished a full A-level in Religious Studies with an A grade. She is looking forward to finishing her A-level studies this summer.

William sat units in four different subjects, and attained three A grades and one B. We trust he will steam ahead to equally good results in the summer.

Pallavi is putting lots of hard work into her studies, and had an A grade and two B’s and a C in her modules this January.

Matthew scored all A’s in the five modules he took in Physics and Mathematics.

Also five A grades for Harpreet, in Mathematics and Economics units.

Tej sat four unit exams, gaining two A’s, a B, and a C grade.

Stephan did four units with three A results, and one B. An excellent achievement especially considering his late arrival into this academic year.

Sarah had two A’s and two B’s in her units. These are very pleasing results for her as she had not done so well in her previous school.

This year we have a small group of Vietnamese students. Their unit results from January are promising: Tien got three A-grades and one B. Tan did especially well in his Maths units with two A-grades, with a B in his Chemistry module. Hoang gained B's and C's in his units. While Cuong attained two A grades in his Maths modules and B's in his other two subjects.
